This song was originally released under the title "Greta Thunberg". We recorded that version quickly in order to join the voices of protest, and it has been streamed hundreds of times (mostly on Spotify) around the world. We finally took the time to remix it for a more polished musical experience, and renamed it simply to "Greta". The original version will remain on other streaming platforms, but will no longer be made available here for download.
lyrics
"We deserve a safe future. And we demand a safe future."
Sea levels are on the rise
Tiny hands tweet deceit and lies
Youth rebellion is mobilized
Now I would do
Anything for Greta, Greta
Even though I never met her, met her
I gotta make the world better, better
I have to try
Anything for Greta, Greta
Even though I never met her, met her
I gotta leave the world better, better
Before I die
Science warned us for fifty years
Can't live outside the biosphere
Tipping points are already here
Now I would do
Anything for Greta, Greta
Even though I never met her, met her
I gotta make the world better, better
I have to try
Anything for Greta, Greta
Even though I never met her, met her
I gotta leave the world better, better
Before I die
"Do you think they hear us? We will make them hear us!"
Now I would do
Anything for Greta, Greta
Even though I never met her, met her
I gotta make the world better, better
I have to try
Anything for Greta, Greta
Even though I never met her, met her
I gotta leave the world better, better
Before I die
"And if you belong to that small group of people who feel threatened by us, then we have some very bad news for you, because this is only the beginning!"
